Salary: £34,070 per year
We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Chef de Partie to join the exceptional team at Trinity College. The role will be a fixed term maternity cover position until 31st December 2026. Trinity is a prestigious establishment renowned for its superb and creative cuisine. In addition to academics, we also cater for fine dining, banquets, functions and conferences achieving excellent standards. We seek a like-minded person to join our modern and well-equipped kitchen.
The professional qualifications appropriate to this post are:
City & Guilds 706 Parts 1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent, although experience will be taken into consideration.
CIEH level 3 award in supervising food safety in catering
Food allergy awareness certificate.
We offer: 40-hour week mostly straight shifts, generous holidays, pension scheme, meals on duty and uniform.

Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Previous experience in meal preparation and kitchen operations is desirable
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- A genuine passion for culinary arts and customer satisfaction
