You – Are you a commercially aware Fabrication/Metalwork Estimator with experience in a broad range of metalwork fabrication and have the drive to achieve growth with both our current client base and new potential customers.
Us – Almet were established in 1995, we have vast experience in a broad range of products within the metalwork fabrication industry with the ability to produce both bespoke design build projects and batch production.
Role – We are seeking a commercially aware Estimator to further develop existing customer relationships and discover new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities – Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand full project requirements.
Collaborate with Project managers and Production to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
Conduct cost analysis of materials, labour, and equipment to prepare detailed estimates.
Maintaining and building relationships with existing customers as well as seeking out and building relationships with potential new customers.
Skills – Demonstrate sales and estimating experience in the metalwork/fabrication industry.
Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings.
Excellent communication skills
Computer literate (ERP system in place)
Strong time management and planning skills
Ability to prioritise workload and manage work pressure.
