We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Waitress / Barista to join our café team.
Barista experience is a bonus, but full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone keen to learn.
Age: 16 + due to using an commercial coffee machine
Pay: Dependent on age and experience.
Hours: Minimum of 16 hours per week, working 3 to 4 days a week, with additional hours available to cover holidays and busy periods. Applicants should be available to work both weekdays and weekends if needed.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and take food and drink orders
- Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, including coffees
- Serve food and assist with basic food preparation
- Keep the café clean, tidy, and well stocked
- Follow food hygiene and safety procedures
- Handle cash and card payments
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service
What We’re Looking For
- A friendly, reliable, and positive attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a busy environment
- Basic cash handling and numeracy skills
- Previous café, hospitality, or barista experience is an advantage but not essential
