We are currently looking to recruit an Engineering workshop Labourer to join our manufacturing team.

Ulrich Attachments Ltd are ISO 9001:2015 accredited and maintains a Factory Production Control system that is certified in accordance with EN1090-1:2009+A1:2001 up to and including Execution level III works.
The role will involve assisting in operating heavy machinery such as Shot blasting, using MAG drills, operating over head cranes, assisting with profiling machine unloading, assisting kitting of parts and general housekeeping of the workshops. The site processes hundreds of tonnes of steel components each week and so health and safety is a primary concern for us. As such, you will be given full training on how to operate all the machinery in our manufacturing workshop as well as manual handling and general health and safety training via toolbox talks.
The main purpose of this role:
- Loading the shot blast media into the blast pot and assisting with shot blasting when required, Operating MAG drills, kitting components for fabrications, Assist with unloading CNC Profiling Machine, general housekeeping of the workshop, keeping bins emptied, walkways clear and other Scheduled Preventative Maintenance [SPM] actions in line with our SQCDP system, or any other duties reasonably directed by a supervisor or manager. This may involve moving to another areas, machine centre, or location. All activities must be carried out in accordance with Quality & Health & safety working practices.
