Duties
- Conduct deliveries efficiently and safely, adhering to scheduled routes and deadlines
- Assist with warehouse operations, including loading and unloading goods
- Perform heavy lifting when required, ensuring proper handling to prevent injury
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory movements
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate tasks and resolve issues promptly
- Ensure vehicles are maintained in good condition, reporting any faults or concerns
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure working environment
Skills
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is highly desirable
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record; experience with <PERSON> drivers preferred
- Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards within the UK
- Experience working in warehouses or logistics environments is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and clients
- Organised, punctual, and able to manage time effectively during busy periods
