Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Bench Joiner/Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic woodworking team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom cabinetry, furniture, and joinery components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in fabrication, assembly, and the use of various hand and power tools will be essential in delivering exceptional craftsmanship that meets client specifications. Duties
- Accurately measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials to produce custom cabinetry and furniture pieces.
- Operate hand tools such as chisels, saws, drills, and screwdrivers with precision to ensure quality finishes.
- Use power tools including routers, sanders, and saws to facilitate efficient fabrication processes.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to ensure accurate production.
- Perform quality checks throughout the manufacturing process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
- Assist with the installation of finished products on-site when required, ensuring proper fitting and finishing touches.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabrication, joinery, carpentry, or cabinet making within a workshop or construction setting.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong understanding of joinery techniques and woodworking principles.
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, or schematics accurately.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in a physically demanding environment.
- Knowledge of construction painting, roofing, plumbing, masonry or electrical experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
- Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: £25,420.00-£45,149.59 per year
