Summary
We are seeking a dependable and diligent Low Loader Driver to join our friendly team in Ashby de la Zouch. This role is vital in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of commercial vehicles and equipment, supporting our company's mission to deliver quality service.
Responsibilities
- Operate low loader trucks to transport commercial vehicles, plant machinery, and trailers safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules.
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle logs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Ensure the security of transported items during transit.
- Qualifications
- Valid C+E driving license suitable for heavy goods vehicles.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with low loaders
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to transportation.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Reliable and trustworthy with a good work ethic.
- Ability to operate vehicle controls confidently.
- Good communication skills.
