We are looking for an experienced vehicle Service Technician that can carry out checks and repairs to all makes and model of cars and light commercial vehicles on a Moday and Friday. We use the Techman garage management system where you will be provided with an IPad to access your jobs, carry out all of your reporting on vehicles and access vehicle information.
We use Autel, Thinkcar and Topdon diagnostic tools to help with diagnosing vehicles and have access to dealer level tools for We use manufactures data from AllData, Autodata, DDTSB, HaynesPro and PICO Tecnology and we are part of numerous garage communities such as The DPF Doctor, SimplyDiag.net and 1-Tec Auto Hub.
We offer ongoing training in different areas of vehicle systems and technology with training provided by the LKQ Acadamy, the ideal candidate will looking to progress their career in vehicle diagnostics due to the complexity of modern vehicles.
This role operates in a modern heated workshop with all specialist tools provided. It is a busy and demanding environment with a Manager, Assistant Manager, six other Technicians and an MOT Tester, so we are looking for a hard working team player.
Not an exhaustive list, but we carry out servicing using our own schedules (Standard or Major Service), manufactures servicing if the vehicle is in manufactures warranty, brake (mechanical and electrical), clutch, exhaust, DPF, suspension, steering, tyres, wheel bearing, timing belt and chain replacement, head gasket replacement, wheel alignment and light electrical work such as bulb, lamp and window
