Rushton Hall Hotel & Spa is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Full-Time Commis Chef to join our talented kitchen brigade. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring chef to develop their skills in a luxury hospitality environment while working alongside experienced chefs dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Whether you are newly qualified or have some professional kitchen experience, we are looking for someone eager to learn, grow, and contribute to our high standards of food quality and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes across all hotel dining outlets.
- Support senior chefs with daily food preparation and service.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented to established standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Follow all food hygiene, health and safety, and HACCP regulations.
- Assist with stock rotation, storage, and inventory control.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team during service periods.
About You
- Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential.
- A genuine passion for food and hospitality.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Food Safety certification is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holiday periods.
