We're looking for a Quality & Assurance Manager to join our United Utilities team based in Warrington.

We are seeking an experienced Quality & Assurance Manager to lead quality assurance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across a portfolio of high-profile water infrastructure projects. This role is aligned with the Client's AMP8 programme, which focuses on addressing Combined Sewer Overflow spills using both conventional engineering and innovative Blue/Green infrastructure solutions. You'll also be involved in critical upgrades including wastewater treatment plant improvements, chemical removal projects, reservoir compliance initiatives, and bathing water quality improvement schemes. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in driving quality excellence across a transformative and environmentally significant programme.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Quality & Assurance Manager, you'll be working within the United Utilities team, supporting them in delivering quality excellence across water infrastructure projects.
Your day to day will include:
- Overseeing the development and monitoring of Framework and Project Quality Plans to ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle
- Leading the implementation of the project quality management system across framework, site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Championing a proactive "Get it Right" culture and identifying quality risks, issues, and opportunities
- Managing digital Lifetime Quality Records and ensuring a structured approach to progressive handover
- Conducting regular quality inspections on sites, coaching and mentoring teams to achieve excellence and exceed client expectations
What are we looking for?
This role of Quality & Assurance Manager is great for you if:
- You have project management or site management background with experience in the Water Industry
- You have experience leading and managing Quality Assurance including Management Systems in a construction environment
- You possess good knowledge of ISO Standards (9001, 14001, 45001) and excellent communication skills
- You have a full understanding of risk management and suitable operational and compliance management experience
- You're flexible and able to travel within the UK as required, and can work within complex environments with tight deadlines
