- Create high-quality bouquets, arrangements, wedding flowers and funeral tributes to a professional standard.
- Must have 2 years experience within a florist shop setting, and qualifications in floristry
- Assist in the day-to-day management and smooth running of the shop.
- Open and close the premises and take responsibility for the shop in the owner’s absence.
- Deliver exceptional customer service both in-store, over the telephone and online.
- Process customer orders using the till and florist ordering systems.
- Receive, condition and care for fresh flowers, ensuring the highest standards of quality.
- Manage stock levels, place flower and sundry orders, and help minimise waste.
- Maintain high standards of shop presentation, cleanliness and visual merchandising.
- Support, motivate and supervise team members, helping to create a positive working environment.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow the business by increasing sales, encouraging repeat custom, developing new ideas and promoting the business within the local community.
- Create engaging social media content, including photography, videos and posts, to promote products, seasonal campaigns and the business across social media platforms.
- Assist with planning and delivering seasonal displays, promotions and marketing campaigns.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures and company policies are followed.
- Carry out any other duties reasonably required to support the successful operation and growth of the business
Must be able to attend a paid work day to demonstrate skill set.
Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
