Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Take orders accurately from guests, providing friendly recommendations and engaging with patrons to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
- Manage cash transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems, handling basic math calculations for bills and tips.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with legal alcohol service regulations.
- Restock bar supplies as needed, keeping track of inventory levels to prevent shortages during busy periods.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours and special events.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and alcohol service regulations is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and energetic attitude toward guests.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or glassware.
- Experience in bartending or serving roles will be advantageous but is not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
