About the Role
OGL Construction is looking for an enthusiastic and organised Office & Administrative Assistant to join our growing team at our Head Office in Steeton.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in administration. No previous experience is required as full training will be provided. We are looking for a reliable individual with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
You will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of the office, helping to ensure administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently while providing support to colleagues across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Processing purchase invoices and maintaining accurate records.
- Ordering office supplies and monitoring stock levels.
- Booking hotels and travel arrangements.
- Opening, sorting, and distributing incoming post.
- Printing, scanning, filing, and shredding documents.
- Answering and directing telephone calls.
- Preparing meeting rooms for internal and external meetings.
- Arranging refreshments when required.
- Maintaining supplier and subcontractor records.
- Supporting compliance and administrative processes.
- Providing general office support to the wider team.

Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
Salary
£23,500 – £27,500 per annum depending on age, experience, and suitability for the role.
