Full Job Description
The Lime Tree Hotel is an independent boutique hotel set within a beautifully restored Georgian townhouse in the heart of Belgravia, just moments from the artisan boutiques and cafés of Elizabeth Street.
At the heart of the hotel is The Buttery, our popular neighbourhood café and garden space, serving breakfast, brunch, speciality coffee and seasonal dishes in a relaxed yet elegant setting. Welcoming both hotel guests and local visitors, The Buttery is known for its warm atmosphere, attentive service and beautiful surroundings, including our tranquil Secret Garden.
We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for hospitality, a positive and friendly personality, and great attention to detail, who enjoys creating memorable experiences and making guests feel truly welcome.
We are proud to have been included in The Sunday Times Top 100 British Hotels and Condé Nast Traveller’s 10 Best Hotels in London.
Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and engaging Waiter/Waitress to join our team at The Buttery. This is a hands-on, guest-facing role where personality, warmth and attention to detail are just as important as experience.
As part of our small and welcoming team, you will play a key role in creating a relaxed yet attentive dining experience for both hotel guests and local visitors. From serving breakfast and brunch to recommending dishes, preparing tables and assisting the Barista with coffee preparation and drinks service, you will help deliver the personal service The Buttery is known for.
This is a very busy, fast-paced and high-volume environment, especially during weekends and peak service periods, so we are looking for someone who enjoys working under pressure, stays organised and maintains a positive and professional attitude throughout service.
This is not a standard café role. We are looking for someone who enjoys interacting with people, works well as part of a team, takes initiative and takes pride in creating memorable guest experiences within a boutique hospitality setting.
