We are looking for an experienced Shop Fitter Supervisor/Team Leader to lead installation and refurbishment projects across major, well-known UK supermarkets.
The successful candidate must have strong shop-fitting experience, previous supervisory experience and a full UK driving licence.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervise shop-fitting teams in supermarket environments
- Organise workloads and ensure projects are completed on schedule
- Read and work from plans, drawings and installation guides
- Maintain high standards of workmanship
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed
- Liaise with store management, clients and project managers
- Provide progress updates and report any site issues
- Complete hands-on shop-fitting work
Essential requirements:
- Proven shop-fitting experience
- Experience working in major supermarkets or live retail environments
- Previous supervisor or team-leader experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Valid CSCS card
- Ability to read technical drawings and plans
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK
- Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends
- Reliable, organised and able to work under pressure
Desirable:
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
- First Aid at Work certification
