We are seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for all visitors. Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality and janitorial work is highly desirable. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linens as required
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
- Assist with additional cleaning tasks in public areas when necessary
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards guests and colleagues
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial roles is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning duties throughout the shift
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent guest service
