Overview
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Mechanic to join our team, responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles mainly performance and luxury cars to ensure optimal performance and safety. The successful candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with various tools, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including engine work, brake servicing, and suspension repairs
- Utilise schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out repairs and assembly tasks
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics to facilitate precise repairs
- Carry out equipment repair and maintenance to minimise downtime
- Assist with vehicle assembly or modification projects as required
- Maintain detailed records of all work carried out for each vehicle
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of BMW with experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Ability to perform assembly tasks accurately and efficiently
- Experience with vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting systems
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for various vehicle components
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely (heavy lifting) and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good customer service skills, able to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs

Pay: £26,123.10-£35,000.00 per year
