An excellent opportunity has arisen for a high calibre finance professional to join the Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will :-
- Lead the Finance Team in producing monthly budget monitoring packs for Senior Management, assist in strategic budget setting and other performance monitoring activities.
- Provide expert financial advice to senior managers and service leads of varying disciplines
- Support strategic decision making through high quality financial information and analysis
- Contribute to the development and delivery of savings and transformation and improvement programmes
- Ensure robust financial controls and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Provide line management duties and mentoring and support to the wider finance team

We are seeking an experienced finance professional who combines strong technical expertise with excellent leadership and communication skills.
Essential criteria includes :-
- Degree-level education
- Current membership of a recognised CCAB (or CIMA) professional body
- Commitment to Continued Professional Development (CPD)
You will also have :-
- Significant management accounting experience, preferably within a Local Authority, NHS or similarly complex public sector organisation
- Experience producing and presenting complex financial information to senior officers to support decision making
- Experience of budget monitoring and scrutiny within a large organisation
- Experience in leading, managing and developing staff
- Experience working collaboratively across organisational boundaries and a wide range of stakeholders
