Join our friendly team as a Retail Support Assistant and become the friendly face that makes finding the right product to help , a pleasent experience! In this dynamic role, you will engage with customers, provide expert advice on a wide range of products, and ensure the store is inviting, well-organized, and fully stocked. You will also be the first point of contact when our customers phone requiring appointments for the repair of mobility scooters and wheelchairs and to book holiday hires.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in matching the right product for their needs.
- Provide expert advice and information on a variety of mobility aids. Demonstating fully the operation of equipment and checking customers understanding.
- Maintain product displays , restock and monitor stock levels.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system
- Keep accurate customer records through the use of Sage software , Excel Spreadsheets and an electronic diary system
- Qualifications
- Minimum of Maths and English GCSE or equivalent standard. Previous experience with dealing with the public. Must pass a Standard DBS
- Excellent communication skills to connect with customers from various backgrounds and to communicate effectively with team.
- Strong organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain tidy displays
- Previous retail experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Full training will be provided
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as dissassembling mobility scooter components to fit in the boot of a car and wheelchairs
- A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to help others
Pay: £25,420.00-£28,000.00 per year
