Are you an experienced conveyancer who wants to spend more time doing quality legal work and less time battling unrealistic caseloads, constant pressure and a conveyor-belt approach to conveyancing?
JCC Legal is growing in South Wales, and we're looking for an experienced, qualified conveyancer to join our team in Newport.
We are a specialist conveyancing firm built around a simple idea: give good conveyancers the support, autonomy and manageable workload they need to provide an excellent service.
The Role
You will manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, working directly with clients, estate agents, lenders and other professionals involved in the transaction.
We are looking for someone confident managing a broad range of residential property matters, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Mortgaged and cash transactions
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
- New-build transactions
- More complex residential conveyancing matters
You will have autonomy over your files while being part of a growing specialist team where support is available when you need it.
What We're Looking For
We are particularly interested in experienced conveyancers who are:
Qualified as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEx Lawyer
and ideally have:
- At least 5 years' residential conveyancing experience
- Experience managing a full caseload from instruction to completion
- Strong technical knowledge
- Excellent client communication skills
- A proactive approach to progressing transactions
- Confidence dealing with estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
- A genuine commitment to delivering a high standard of client service
