Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Nurse Level 3 to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children to learn, grow, and develop essential skills. Your leadership and management skills will ensure that daily activities are engaging and aligned with best practices in childcare. Duties
- Plan and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate activities that promote children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
- Supervise and support children during playtime, learning sessions, mealtimes, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and engagement
- Manage daily routines including hygiene, nutrition, rest periods, and behavior management with patience and professionalism
- Lead and mentor junior staff members, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and developmental milestones in compliance with regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children’s progress, needs, and any concerns to build strong relationships
- Ensure the nursery environment is clean, organized, and fully compliant with health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide team members effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of childcare regulations, health & safety standards, and safeguarding procedures
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driving license is preferred for roles requiring travel between multiple nursery sites or community visits

Pay: £13.00-£14.30 per hour
