Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Nursery Manager to lead and inspire our early childhood education team. Duties
- Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
- Lead, motivate, and support nursery staff to maintain high standards of childcare and early childhood education
- Develop and implement engaging activities that promote children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements to create a secure environment for children and staff
- Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians to provide updates on children’s progress and address any concerns
- Oversee staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to build a strong team
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and educational programs offered
Qualifications
- Proven management and leadership skills within a childcare or nursery setting
- Extensive experience working directly with children in early childhood education or childcare roles
- Strong understanding of nursery regulations, health & safety standards, and child development principles
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively liaise with parents, staff, and regulatory bodies
- Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are highly desirable
- Valid driving license is preferred for transportation duties or outreach activities
- Passionate about creating a positive, inclusive environment that supports children’s growth and learning

Pay: £25,822.78-£45,839.54 per year
