Fellows is an institution of a Nottingham pub, which has been lovingly brought back to life by the current team - after re-establishing its reputation, we’re now looking for a new head chef to develop the food offering further.

What the role involves:
- Running the kitchen day to day
- Cooking fresh food to a consistent standard
- Helping develop and refine the menu over time
- Stock control, ordering and waste management
- Managing food safety to the highest standard
- Building on a solid food reputation to grow sales further
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous ready to step up
- Is happy working solo in the kitchen at times
- Can handle service without drama
- Understands proper pub grub
- Wants ownership of the food operation, not just a rota
What you get:
- £35k to £38k depending on experience
- 45 hours per week
- Hourly pay considered if candidate prefers
- Set working pattern: Wednesday to Sunday
- Real input into food direction, working alongside the passionate and hands on directors
- Job security in a growing independent business
If you want a big team and a clipboard, this isn’t for you.If you want to run your own kitchen and shape a pub food offer, it might be.
