Job Summary
We are seeking a trainee Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of various products and systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Overnight stays, 2/3 nights per week, with all expenses and supplement allowance paid.
Responsibilities
- Carry out installations of products according to specifications and company guidelines.
- Ensure all installations are completed safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough inspections of installed products to guarantee functionality and quality.
- Provide exceptional customer service during installations, addressing any client queries or concerns promptly.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, reporting any issues as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to improve installation processes and efficiency.
- Keep accurate records of work completed, including materials used and time spent on each job.
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar installation role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Driving licence required.
