Role Overview
We’re looking for a passionate and driven Senior Sous Chef to join our hospitality kitchen team. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Executive Chef, helping lead food production for match days, high volume café, hospitality suites, events, functions and day-to-day catering, while ensuring consistent quality, presentation and service across every occasion.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in daily hospitality kitchen operations, food preparation and service
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of hygiene and efficiency
- Contribute to menu planning for match-day hospitality, corporate events, private functions and seasonal café menus
- Support the delivery of high-volume food service while maintaining excellent standards of quality and presentation
- Maintain inventory, order supplies, and manage stock rotation
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and kitchen cleanliness
- Step up to lead kitchen service for hospitality events when required
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Passion for fresh, locally sourced food and creative cooking
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and match days
- Food hygiene certification (Level 2 or higher preferred)
- Level 2 Food Allergen training
- Experience in hospitality, banqueting, events, stadia catering or high-volume food service
- Interest in rugby, live events or sports hospitality
- Ability to deliver excellent food standards across hospitality boxes, lounges, functions and busy match-day services
- Knowledge of dietary requirements and allergen management
