WE’RE HIRING – TRAINEE WATER BOILER ENGINEER
Tyrrell Services Limited is looking for a Trainee Water Boiler Engineer to join our growing engineering team.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to start a career in engineering and develop long-term skills. Previous commercial catering experience is not required.
THE ROLE
You will receive hands-on training and support from experienced engineers, learning how to service, maintain, diagnose, and repair commercial water boilers used across hospitality, education, healthcare, and commercial environments.
Your training will include:
Commercial water boiler servicing and maintenance
Electrical fault finding Component testing and replacement
Water systems and basic plumbing
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
Diagnosing faults and breakdowns
Safe isolation and electrical safety
Understanding wiring diagrams
Customer communication
Completing professional service reports
As your knowledge and confidence develop, you will progress towards managing your own workload and attending customers independently.
WE’LL INVEST IN YOU
We are not expecting you to arrive as an engineer. We are looking for someone who wants to become one.
Manufacturer and technical training will be provided alongside practical field experience.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You may already have experience in maintenance, plumbing, electrics, mechanics, or another hands-on trade.
Alternatively, you may simply enjoy understanding how things work and fixing things.
