Job Title: Recruitment and HR Administrator
Hours Mon-Fri 08:30 – 1700 ( 1 hour lunch) - Pay £26,500.00
Job Overview
We're looking for a Recruitment and HR Administrator to support our recruitment and onboarding processes. You'll be responsible for making sure all employee paperwork is completed and uploaded correctly, carrying out compliance checks, and helping new starters through the onboarding process. This is a busy administrative role that requires good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Main Responsibilities
- Upload and maintain employee documents on our HR systems.
- Carry out Right to Work checks and ensure all required documents are in place.
- Complete DVLA licence checks where required.
- Keep employee records accurate and up to date.
- Chase outstanding documents from candidates and employees when needed.
- Support the onboarding process to ensure new starters have everything they need before their start date.
- Respond to basic recruitment and HR queries from employees and managers.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR and recruitment team.
- Carry out initial pre-screening calls with applicants.
- Arrange interviews and HGV driving assessments with candidates and managers.
- Liaise with candidates to provide updates and answer any recruitment queries.
- Liaise with the Marketing team to publish and promote job adverts across various platforms.
- Assist with recruitment campaigns to help attract HGV drivers and other suitable candidates.
What We're Looking For
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Able to manage and prioritise a busy workload.
- Comfortable handling confidential information.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
- Previous administration experience is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in recruitment or HR administration would be an advantage, but training can be provided.
This role would suit someone who enjoys administrative work, is organised and takes pride in keeping information accurate and up to date.
Pay: Up to £26,500.00 per year
