Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will preferably have experience in production manufacturing, either in an assembly, casting or technical role but, not essential. We are looking for the right person to join our casting team. This is a physical role so the ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the role, we do have lifting aids and are ergonomically friendly however, manual handling guidelines must be adhered to.
The raw materials and chemicals used in this role means strict H&S guidelines must be followed, including always wearing the correct PPE.
The role is to prepare mixes for the following days casting schedule, ensuring the process is followed as per the Work Process Instructions. On the day of the casting, you will mix and prepare the pour using our mixing tank and vacuum chamber, which is a semi-automated process, this will be followed by pouring the mix into the pre-heated moulds.
Further understanding of the role will be given during the interview stage and if successful, full training will be given.
