Joining us as a Trainee SMART Repair Technician means you will play a crucial role in achieving and maintaining the highest standards of the company through service and repairs as well as understanding the needs of every customer, which makes it important that you demonstrate our People First values to go the extra mile and get the service and repairs right first time, every time.
About the role:
Reporting into the Bodyshop Manager, the successful Trainee SMART Repair Technician will work with and assist the SMART Repair Technicians in carrying out paintwork SMART repairs on internal and retail vehicles in line with deadlines and targets.
As a Perrys Trainee SMART Repair Technician, you will help prepare and paint vehicles to a high standard with direct supervision, to include alloy wheel refurbishment, paintwork and bumper repairs, scratch and scuff removal and minor cosmetic repairs.
Learning how to use all products economically to minimise waste and costs, completing all work within agreed time scales and explaining work and charges.
About you:
You will be well-organised and self-motivated and able to manage the workload given.
Demonstrate capability and confidence in working with equipment and systems within the dealership.
Care passionately and commit to doing the right thing for our customers, treating them fairly.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
