Baked in Brick is looking for a reliable, hard-working Kitchen Porter to join our busy central production kitchen in Digbeth. We’re an award-winning, fast-growing hospitality business, and this role is essential in keeping our operation running smoothly.
About the Role:
Monday - Friday 10am -5pm
As our Kitchen Porter, you’ll support the day-to-day running of our production unit, ensuring the kitchen is kept clean, organised, and efficient. You’ll work closely with our production and bakery teams to help maintain high standards across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of our production kitchen at all times
- Washing equipment, utensils, trays, and keeping work areas spotless
- Assisting with stock rotation and putting deliveries away correctly
- Helping staff with packing orders for our sites and customers
- Slicing bread and assisting with simple bakery tasks when required
- Supporting the team with any additional duties to keep production running smoothly
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Kitchen Porter or in a hospitality environment
- Good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to get stuck in
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting
