Swim School Administrator - Join the Swim Superb Team!
Swim Superb is an award-winning, family-run swim school delivering high-quality swimming lessons across Preston and Chorley. Every week, we teach almost 900 swimmers, helping children build confidence, develop skills for life and become safer around water.
As our swim school continues to grow, we're looking for an organised, proactive and friendly Swim School Administrator to become a key part of our team.
This role is ideal for someone who already has experience working within the swimming or aquatics industry and is looking to take the next step in their career. Whether you've been a swim teacher, assistant teacher, aquatics coordinator or swim school administrator, this is an exciting opportunity to use your knowledge in a varied operational role while remaining part of the industry you love.
You'll be the first point of contact for many of our families, supporting them throughout their swimming journey while working closely with our teaching team to ensure every swimmer receives the exceptional experience Swim Superb is known for.
Hours
- 28 hours per week
- 50 working weeks per year
- Includes 2 late evenings until 7:00pm
- Working days to be agreed with the successful applicant.
This role includes periods of lone working, so you'll need to be confident working independently, managing your own workload and making day-to-day decisions while maintaining our high standards.
As a self-employed contractor, you will be responsible for:
- Providing your own laptop/computer, mobile phone, internet access and general office stationery.
- Managing your own tax and National Insurance contributions.
- Holding any insurance required.
What You'll Be Doing
- Responding to customer enquiries via email, telephone and social media.
- Managing swimming lesson bookings, transfers, cancellations and waiting lists.
- Managing customer accounts, including monitoring outstanding balances and following up overdue payments in a friendly, professional and empathetic manner.
- Welcoming new customers and guiding them through the booking process.
- Maintaining accurate customer records and registers.
- Preparing administrative documents and lesson resources.
- Processing swimmer awards, including certificates, badges and customer orders, ensuring they are accurate and ready for distribution.
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the swim school.
- Helping maximise class occupancy and customer retention.
- Assisting with marketing, social media and promotional campaigns where required.
- Providing administrative and PA support to the business owners and management team, including diary management, event planning, meeting preparation and assisting with day-to-day business operations.
- Supporting the continued growth and success of Swim Superb.

- Has previous experience working within the swimming or aquatics industry.
- Has excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Can confidently work independently during periods of lone working.
- Is confident using computers and learning new software.
- Is reliable, trustworthy and able to use their own initiative.
- Is passionate about delivering an exceptional experience for every family.
Desirable
- Previous experience using swim school management software.
- Experience within an administrative or customer service role.
- Experience managing bookings, customer enquiries or scheduling.
