Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and professional Letting Agent to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will assist clients in buying, selling, and renting properties, providing expert guidance throughout the real estate process. Key Responsibility
- Assist clients with renting properties by providing comprehensive advice and support throughout the lettings process.
- Conduct property viewings to showcase available rental listings to prospective tenants.
- Prepare and review tenancy‑related legal documents, including tenancy agreements, application forms, and referencing paperwork.
- Negotiate terms between landlords and tenants to secure fair and favourable outcomes.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date database of rental property listings, tenancy records, and client information.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote rental properties across social media, online portals, and print advertising.
- Build strong relationships with landlords and tenants to understand their needs and preferences.
- Stay informed about local rental market trends, pricing, and relevant lettings legislation or regulatory changes.
- Coordinate property inspections, contractors, referencing agencies, and other professionals to facilitate smooth tenancy progression.
Skills & Attributes
Required:
- Interest in Property
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
- Proven administrative experience with strong organisational abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for clear information delivery and effective negotiation.
- Ability to speak multiple languages (advantageous for engaging diverse clients).
- Strong time‑management skills, including task prioritisation and accurate record‑keeping.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of local property laws, regulations, and market conditions (training provided if needed).
Working Hours and benefits
- Monday to Friday: 9:30am - 5:30pm
- 35 hours per week.
- Paid 28 days annual leave (inclusive of UK Bank Holidays)
