The Market is not your typical food hall, bar or entertainment venue.
We're creating a destination that brings together independent businesses, live entertainment, great food, premium drinks and unique experiences under one roof. Working alongside brands such as Tiny Rebel and AU Vodka, as well as a range of exciting local businesses, we're building something completely different for Newport.
We're looking for confident, energetic and outgoing individuals to become the face of The Market and help spread the word about everything we have to offer.
This is not a role for someone who wants to stand silently handing out flyers.
We're looking for people who can start conversations, create excitement, engage with the public and actively encourage visitors to experience The Market for themselves.
The Role
As a Brand Ambassador, you will represent The Market throughout Newport and at promotional events, helping to build awareness, increase footfall and create genuine excitement around the venue.
You will become knowledgeable about our traders, events, food and drink offering, promotions and future plans, allowing you to speak confidently and authentically with potential customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote The Market throughout Newport city centre and surrounding areas
- Engage confidently with members of the public
- Drive visitor numbers into The Market during key trading periods
- Learn about our businesses, events, promotions and experiences
- Represent The Market brand professionally at all times
- Support launches, events, activations and promotional campaigns
- Work alongside management and traders to increase awareness and footfall
- Use initiative to identify opportunities to attract new visitors
- Help create a fun, welcoming and exciting atmosphere around the brand
