Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and prepare construction worksites
- Assemble and dismantle scaffolding structures safely and efficiently
- Ensure all scaffolding conforms to safety regulations
- Collaborate with other trades to support building projects
- Dismantle scaffolding once work is complete
- Potentially work overtime on busy projects
Qualifications & Experience
Ideal candidates will have:
- UK NVQ Level 2, NVQ Level 3, or Advanced Ticket—or an equivalent qualification
- At minimum, a Level 2 Certificate in Construction Operations
- At least 2 years of scaffolding experience
- Experience with Layher All round Scaffolding System (preferred)
- Tube & clip scaffolding experience (preferred)
- NZ HGV Licence (Class 4, equivalent to UK Class 2) – preferred but not essential
Role Levels Available
- Level 2 – Entry-level scaffolder for experienced candidates
- Level 2 with HGV – Preferred by some employers
- Level 3 (Supervisor) – For those ready to lead teams
