We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Support the daily operations of the nursery by assisting with activities, routines, and supervision of children
- Lunch time support, you will be required to clean tables and set up the lunches, staying with children until they have finished. Tidy away all lunches and clean up any spillages.
- Engage children in age-appropriate play, educational activities, and creative projects that promote learning and development
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by maintaining vigilant supervision and adhering to health and safety protocols
- Collaborate with senior staff to implement early childhood education programs that meet developmental standards
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to foster a positive and inclusive environment
- Support management in maintaining accurate records related to children's progress, attendance, and daily activities.
- Prior experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is highly desirable
- Demonstrated skills with the ability to manage small groups of children confidently
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare best practices
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
