Overview:
We are currently looking for Skilled/Semi Skilled Vehicle Technicians to assist in the following areas of vehicle research and development

Electrical Testing (including Connected Car)
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of vehicles or parts for special uses including Test use.

Evaluation of vehicle performance according to set criteria.

Assemble / dis-assemble parts, components, or vehicles for static & dynamic test activities.

Maintenance of Vehicles to include safety check, retrofit, fault finding and repair.

Liaise with engineers to conduct tests to Nissan Standards & local operating procedures.

Instrumentation set-up.

Write reports.

Assist with facility management inclusive of maintenance, facility calibration, risk assessment and training.

Learn bespoke Nissan systems required to fulfil role.
Qualifications:
- Vehicle Technician, IMI Level 3 for skilled roles
Desired skills:
- Previous experience of working in a vehicle build/prototype environment would be desirable.
Experience:
- Workshop experience for skilled roles.
