Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and ensure a positive first impression upon arrival
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages efficiently
- Assist with food preparation and presentation when required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Handle customer enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly
- Support barista duties, including preparing specialised coffee drinks with attention to detail
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate service flow during busy periods
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimise guest experience
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality roles is highly required
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Experience in food preparation or restaurant service is compulsory
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Organised with strong multitasking abilities
