We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our vibrant care team. Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized care in accordance with individual care plans, promoting independence and dignity for each resident
- Supervise and support junior care staff, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure consistent, high standards of care
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility, ensuring their comfort and safety
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, including updates to care plans and incident reports
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and team members to coordinate care and address needs promptly
- Support the implementation of health and safety protocols to create a secure environment for all residents and staff
- Use IT systems efficiently to record data, update records, and manage schedules

Qualifications
- Previous experience in senior care or working within a care home setting is highly desirable
- Supervising or leadership experience within a care environment is preferred
- Strong communication skills to interact empathetically with residents, families, and colleagues

- Valid driving license is advantageous for supporting residents’ outings or appointments
- Proficiency in IT systems used for documentation and reporting purposes
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to senior care
