Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and responding to their needs promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to create a seamless dining experience.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
- Familiarity with food safety practices within a restaurant setting is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a genuine desire to help customers.
- A background in hospitality will be beneficial in understanding customer expectations.
