Responsibilities
- Respond swiftly to reports of wrong fuel incidents, assessing vehicle needs on-site or at designated locations
- Safely drain contaminated fuel from vehicles using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring no further damage occurs
- Use hand tools, power tools, plumbing equipment, and carpentry skills to access fuel tanks and perform repairs if necessary
- Conduct basic mechanical inspections to identify potential issues related to fuel systems or vehicle components
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving fuel tanks or vehicle parts, following safety protocols at all times
- Maintain detailed records of each service performed, including procedures followed and parts used
- Ensure all work complies with environmental regulations and safety standards
Experience
- Proven experience in mechanical work, plumbing, or automotive repair environments
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Knowledge of vehicle fuel systems and basic math for measurements and calculations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various conditions
- Experience with commercial driving or operating service vehicles is a plus but not mandatory
- Familiarity with carpentry or construction-related tasks is advantageous
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills
