Currently, we are offering an opportunity to join our fantastic team as a Lecturer in Child Health Nursing on a fixed term basis for 12 months, predominantly supporting delivery of our pre-registration nursing programme.
The Role:
As a Lecturer in Child Health Nursing, you will have the opportunity to use your experience and passion to develop graduates of the future through the effective delivery of learning, teaching, research and knowledge exchange.
You will have the chance to use your knowledge and expertise to deliver effective teaching and mentorship, as well as the opportunity to translate relevant professional practice (including research) into comprehensive and engaging curricula that will prepare and inspire the next generation of nurses.
We anticipate that best practice will be of the highest priority to you, so you will also have remit to build and complement our commitment to knowledge exchange e.g. through the development of continuous professional development courses, as well as to support the creation of strategic partnerships.
Your passion for the development of the nursing profession and preparing future nurses will also be welcomed, as we invite you to contribute to our interdisciplinary partnerships in research, teaching and practice.

What we will need from you:

Masters level qualification in Nursing or related topic.
NMC Registration in Child Health Nursing and evidence of recent clinical experience.
Profile that demonstrates at least national standing in your area of expertise
A passion for teaching, learning and personal/professional development
Experience of contributing to the education of nurses

Additional information:
Salary: £46,049 - £58,225 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract: fixed term for one-year, Full Time or part time – 35 hrs/wk, Secondments will also be considered.
