Job Title: Hands-on Site Manager – Liverpool
We are one of the UK’s fastest-growing hospitality brands, offering 4* short-term rentals in central locations across the country. We are seeking an operational Site Manager to oversee our Liverpool portfolio.
While this position involves site oversight and guest interaction, the primary core of this role is physical, hands-on housekeeping and turnover management. We need a dependable leader who leads by example on the floor, takes personal pride in immaculate cleanliness, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves every single day.
Primary Responsibilities1. Daily Housekeeping & Turnovers (Main Priority)
- Active Cleaning Support: Spend a significant portion of your daily shift actively cleaning, stripping, and resetting apartments alongside the cleaning team to ensure 100% on-time check-in readiness.
- 4 Quality Control:* Conduct daily, meticulous audits of turned-over rooms to maintain strict cleanliness standards—catching every detail from spotless linens to immaculate fixtures.
- Team Leadership on the Floor: Work side-by-side with the housekeeping crew to organize turnover workflows, maintain high morale, and drive efficiency during peak changeovers.
2. Maintenance & Operations
- Issue Resolution: Handle minor on-site repairs or swiftly coordinate with external contractors for larger facility issues.
- Inventory & Supplies: Manage linen logistics, restock cleaning equipment, and maintain guest amenity supplies so the cleaning team always has what they need.
3. Guest Experience & Local Support
- Guest Onboarding: Provide warm, professional check-ins and act as the approachable, on-site contact for guest enquiries during shift hours.
- Problem Solving: Resolve guest concerns quickly and efficiently, whether in person, online, or over the phone.
Key Requirements
- Hands-on Work Ethic: A genuine willingness to perform intensive cleaning tasks daily—this is an active, physical role, not a desk-bound management job.
- Industry Experience: 2–3+ years in hotel housekeeping management, holiday let operations, or fast-paced hospitality environments.
- Sharp Eye for Detail: Uncompromising standards when inspecting completed cleans; nothing gets past you.
- Communication & Demeanor: Personable, professional, and composed when speaking with guests or directing team members.
- Logistics: A valid UK driving license and personal vehicle are essential for managing stock and moving between properties.
