Star Player delivers high-quality Holiday Activities & Food (HAF) programmes that provide children and young people with safe, engaging and enriching holiday experiences. Our camps combine sport, creativity, positive behaviour support and nutritious food, delivered in partnership with schools and local authorities.
We are recruiting reliable, energetic staff to support delivery across our holiday sites.
Available Roles
Sports Coach – HAF Camps
Pay: National Minimum Wage (age dependent)
Locations: All sites listed above
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver fun, inclusive and structured sports activities
- Engage children of different ages and abilities
- Support positive behaviour and safe play
- Work as part of a wider camp team
Essential:
- Experience working with children or young people
- Interest or background in sport or physical activity
- Positive attitude and basic behaviour management skills
Arts & Crafts Coach – HAF Camps
Pay: National Minimum Wage (age dependent)
Locations: All sites listed above
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative arts and crafts activities
- Encourage creativity and participation
- Manage groups safely and positively
- Support behaviour management and supervision
Essential:
- Experience working with children
- Creative skills and confidence leading activities
- Calm, patient and engaging approach
Camp Manager – HAF Camps
Pay: £17.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Locations: All sites listed above
Key responsibilities:
- Overall day-to-day management of the HAF camp
- Leading and supporting staff on site
- Managing registers, incident reports and safeguarding concerns
- Liaising with parents, schools and Star Player management
- Ensuring safe delivery, positive behaviour and high-quality provision
- End-of-day checks, reporting and staff debriefs
Essential:
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Confident with safeguarding, admin and parent communication
- Reliable and able to take responsibility for a full camp day

- Enhanced DBS check
- Safeguarding training
- Right to work in the UK
