Job Title: LCV Technician
Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 + £1000 joining bonus

Overview
Our client, a reputable Hire company are seeking a skilled LCV Technician to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at using various power and hand tools. This role requires the ability to perform heavy lifting and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and systems.
Duties
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all types of vehicles.
- Utilise power tools and hand tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Inspect, diagnose and rectify any mechanical and electrical faults.
- Repair or replace broken or defective parts.
- Attend breakdowns on site, fault diagnosis and correct rectification.
- Correctly process all jobs on the works handheld tablet to include the allocation of labor and any parts used.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
- Follow all health and safety regulations while working on-site.
Expectation
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in a similar role preferred.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, with a focus on maintaining proper lifting techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to work, with a willingness to learn new skills as required.
Required
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an LCV Technician.
- NVQ Level 2/ 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance Repair
- Driving licence
