Key Steps Day Nursery Gloucester is looking for a Nursery Cook to join our family. This means NO weekend work, no evening work and no bank holiday work.
The successful candidate will work alongside our Kitchen Assistant and prepare and deliver homemade nutritionally balanced meals, in accordance with our weekly nursery menus, food policies and children’s individual dietary requirements. The role is for 8 hours a day, Monday - Friday all year round.
Working as part of the team you will be responsible for the day to day running of the kitchen. You will also have the opportunity to support with teaching the children good nutritional choices and work with the childcare staff to deliver cooking experiences within the rooms.
Key Steps Day Nursery is committed to safeguarding and the successful applicant will be required to have a satisfactory enhanced DBS check before starting with the nursery, in addition to satisfactory references and a certificate of good conduct (if applicable).
