About Us
We're a growing food startup with ambitious plans, and this is your chance to get in on the ground floor of something special.
Our mission is to connect customers with exceptional, ethically-produced British food, sourced directly from farmers and producers we trust.
The Role
We're looking for a Brand & Growth Executive to help more of the right people discover Pipers & Co.
You'll own the top of our funnel: press coverage, partnerships, creator collaborations, referral programmes and campaign launches. You'll work closely with our Brand Director, playing a central role in building the Pipers & Co brand and supporting customer acquisition.
This would suit someone who likes making things happen more than making plans, and who would rather have real ownership.
What You'll Be Doing
Press & Earned Coverage
- Building relationships with food writers, journalists and editors
- Running our press sample campaigns end to end, including the follow up
- Pitching stories about our producers, our food and the business
Partnerships & Creators
- Finding brands and people whose audiences overlap with ours
- Negotiating and delivering collaborations, not just arranging them
- Running our creator and ambassador programmes
Campaigns & Growth
- Planning and delivering seasonal campaigns
- Building referral and ambassador programmes
- Reporting honestly on what worked and what didn't
- Finding the next channel worth testing
You'll be measured on coverage earned and audiences reached, not on activity completed.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- 2-3 years in PR, partnerships, growth or marketing
- Genuinely strong writing, because much of this job is persuading people over email
- Comfortable owning projects without being chased
- Commercially minded, able to tell the difference between busy and effective
- A real interest in food, farming and where food comes from
Desirable
- Experience pitching press or securing coverage
- Experience running influencer or affiliate programmes
- Familiarity with Shopify, Meta & Klaviyo
Most importantly:
You want responsibility rather than direction. If you'd rather be handed a brief every Monday, this isn't the role.
What We Offer
- £27,000 to £31,000 full time equivalent, depending on experience.
- 24 hours a week, structured as three full days rather than five short ones, because this work needs uninterrupted stretches. We'll flex which days
- Hybrid working, a mix of remote and time at our Cullompton base
- Real ownership from day one, over how we acquire customers and build the brand
- Room to grow. As the business grows we expect hours and scope to grow with it for the right person
- A part in a business backing British farming and genuinely exceptional food
Pay: £27,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Casual dress
- Company pension
- Discounted or free food
- Employee discount
- Free parking
- On-site parking
- Work from home
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Cullompton
