Summary
The children, staff, and governors of Lordsgate Township CE Primary School would like to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, dedicated and skilled Teaching Assistant (Level 2b). The successful candidate will be required to carry out a range of roles including supporting children with additional needs.

Our distinctive Christian ethos, with the value of love at the heart, is a strength of the school. The successful candidate will need to have proven experience of working in a primary school classroom and the ability and desire to support pupils with the Social and Emotional aspects of learning. You will be joining our team of dedicated and hardworking teaching assistants who set high standards for the children and show care, consideration and compassion for their needs.

This contract will be on a variable hours basis in line with all other support staff contracts. Please note the salary quoted is full-time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
- NVQ level 2 (in relevant child care qualification)
GCSE or equivalent qualification in English and Mathematics

Essential Experience
Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age
Desirable Experience
- Experience of working with children with special needs
- Experience of or specially trained in delivering support programmes to children with SEN including speech, language and communication issues
Experience of supporting children with their social and emotional needs
