SEMH Teacher
We are currently looking for a SEMH Teacher to work within one of our specialist SEMH schools located in Bradford. The school provides education to SEMH children with a range of needs.
This role is supporting vulnerable and challenging students so experience is essential, to work with a small group of children with specific needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and other complex behavioural needs.
Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to nurture group students
- Creating a positive and structured learning environment that supports emotional and academic development
- Using behaviour management strategies and trauma-informed approaches to support student progress
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- QTS or a relevant teaching qualification
- Experience teaching students with SEMH needs, ideally in a nurture group or alternative provision setting
- Strong knowledge of behaviour management, trauma-informed teaching, and student engagement strategies
- Two education or school-based references
