Overview
Pamphylia Gardening is a growing gardening company providing high-quality garden maintenance services for residential and commercial clients across central Edinburgh. We are looking for a gardener to join our team and help us maintain high standards of service.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 1 year of gardening experience
- Ability to safely operate power and hand tools, including strimmers, hedge trimmers, blowers, and lawn mowers
- Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Flexible approach to working hours depending on workload and weather conditions
- Van driving experience is preferred but not essential
Key Responsibilities:
- Lawn mowing and strimming
- Weeding and general garden maintenance
- Hedge trimming and pruning
- Planting shrubs and seasonal bedding plants
- Garden tidy-ups and waste removal
Hours & Flexibility:
Typical working hours are Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. However, start and finish times may vary depending on weather conditions, workload, and seasonal demand.
Pay & Contract Type:
- Part-time fixed-term seasonal role from August to November
- Additional hours available depending on workload and seasonal demand
- Competitive hourly rate up to £15 per hour, depending on experience and performance
- Potential for extension or future seasonal work for the right candidate, subject to business needs.
