Duties
- Assist in food production and preparation of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes, following established recipes and quality standards
- Support the kitchen team with food safety practices to ensure cleanliness and hygiene throughout the bakery
- Help set up displays and arrange baked items attractively to entice customers and boost sales
- Maintain inventory levels by restocking shelves and notifying management of supplies needed
- Provide friendly, attentive service to customers, answering questions about products and offering recommendations
- Follow all food safety regulations and procedures during food handling and preparation
- Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with colleagues during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food production, baking, or kitchen environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices
- Experience working in a restaurant or culinary setting is a plus
- Strong interest in baking, cooking, and food preparation techniques
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm
